MAMA
I am a grounded, soulful, deeply feeling, open-hearted, hopeful human. I love dancing, singing in my kitchen, real conversations, and savoring those fleeting small moments with my children. As a mom of two boys I am right there with you in the messy world of parenting. We’ve had meltdowns at the Target checkout, I get eye rolls on the regular, and sweet moments of true connection in between.
TEACHER
I taught for over a decade in public, private, and charter schools. As a teacher, I’ve worked with students of a variety of needs and struggles. I’ve helped friendship groups navigate their ever shifting alliances, rules, and emotions. I’ve had parents who confide in me that though their child is a model student at school, they explode at home and struggle with self regulation. I’ve brainstormed with bright unmotivated learners ways to engage with the topic of study so as to make the content more interesting and appealing to them. I see the behavioral challenges and attention seeking behaviors as needs to be met.
I spent four years as one of the founding teachers of a brand new school, Athena Academy, school for Dyslexic children. We included Social Emotional learning as one of the essential pillars of the school’s curriculum and community. We took a “whole village” approach to building emotional intelligence. The tools and strategies we used became a deeply ingrained feature of our school culture, maximizing its impact for everyone, parents, teachers, students.
COACH
I started this business because we all need and deserve support. My boys have had some really impactful coaches/mentors in sports, martial arts, and school. When I look back, so have I. I’ve had inspiring teachers, tennis coaches, yoga instructors, therapists, professional mentors. Over time, I’ve collected and kept their lessons and can rely on them in those moments in life that get tricky or tough.
As your child’s coach, I promise to meet them right where they’re at, and to genuinely hear them and the challenges they face. Together, we will problem solve and map out strategies. I will build a relationship with them based on trust and respect, and from there, will supportively nudge them to tackle their goals. And then we will celebrate all the milestones, big and small, in achieving them!

A Centered Kid is rooted to the Earth, grounded as they grow.
How Centered Kids Coaching Can Help:
Develop Sense of Self
Helping kids identify, accept, and celebrate all that makes them unique in this world.
We help identify core values as a compass to making decisions, small or big, in life.
Build Confidence
We have authentic conversations about their extraordinary qualities, how to love all parts of their being, and practice growth mindset strategies to change and overcome obstacles.
Expand Potential
Together, we will identify areas of growth, and create a concrete roadmap for meeting those goals. We will select and practice tools for daily life use.
It is our mission to teach kids about essential features of being human.
Self Love. Mindset. Emotions. Values. Boundaries.
Helping them know and understand what is happening in their inner world, providing positive practices and tools to help them weather any storm, small or big, and how to return to their centers.
The World Our Kids Live In Is Different.
Providing positive tools & effective strategies.
Childhood and adolescence are such critical times in the development of self, and most of us as adults just slugged through it as kids, with no real understanding of what was going on. But that doesn’t mean our kids should do the same.
The world our kids live in now is vastly different, our lives are way more public and unforgiving, and our kids deserve the tools to navigate this. Social Emotional Learning has taken off in schools because educators recognize that our kids absolutely deserve to learn these concepts of the essence of being human.
As a coach, I pride myself on my ability to nurture the process because I am in it as well. I remind myself daily that I have the tools and note which one to use. This is what I offer your children, to develop a deep understanding of self; to know what that feels like, to identify a challenge and which tools to use to return to center.
Your kids will make mistakes daily, they will forget those tools, or choose not to use them. But when that storm passes, and they witness it with perspective, that’s where the growth happens.
